Barcelona is a fantastic city. It is easy to walk around and although it is busy, it feels safe even in the early hours of the morning. We stayed close to the Born area and visited lots of tapas bars.

Great break for three nights at the H10 Universitat hotel. Very good location near Ramblas and metros. Wonderful staff, well-equipped room with free safe, coffee tea making facilities and mini-bar for milk. Everything you'd want for breakfast - even champagne!

Great city to see but very busy. Tour buses are the best way to see everything then help to decide what you wish to visit in depth. Icaria Hotel was in a great location, away from the hustle & bustle of the main area but plenty bars/restaurants for the evening.
