Went to see the illuminations that Lawrence designed - was sadly disappointed. Work on the prom spoilt the stroll along the front - wait til finished before visiting.

Hotel room waiting to be refurbished but ok just for one night; would not like to have stayed longer.Hotel did not provide useful information on meal times, local attractions.Noisy location due to trams, late night drunks and nearby karaoke bar.Staff mostly friendly and helpful.

Hotel in process of being updated which is needed, staff friendly and helpful, entertainment in sister hotel each night entertaining and made to feel welcome, food basic but ok, only down side was parking on first come first served basis and didn't know this until we arrived.
