Francis Bacon was one of the greatest painters of the twentieth century and this unmissable exhibition will bring together the best and most important paintings from throughout his turbulent life.

Bacon is famous for his twisted images of people and animals, often splattered with paint, displaying raw emotion and considered to be some of the most powerful images in art.

This is the first time in over twenty years that a major exhibition of Bacon's work has been shown in the UK, and includes highlights such as his portraits of Pope Innocent X and huge works that are painted across three canvases.
