Short Break in London

A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

My daughter and i stayed at the Kingsway Hall Hotel. The room was adequate. The view was of the buildings at the back, so not much to look at!. The window would not open so the room was a little stuffy on a night but having said that we both slept well - possibly the busy two days we had there. The restaurant at breakfast time was chaotic. Waitresses were running around and seemed to achieve nothing by doing so. You had to ask for a cup of tea, then the waitress brought no milk. You had to ask for toast, then the waitress brought no butter. People were queuing at the buffet bar for food to be brought out. Having said all that the hotel and rooms were clean. Staff on reception and door were polite and courteous. The location of the hotel was superb- just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Covent Garden. We booked tickets for the London Eye, no queuing and a real treat. Covent Garden was busy and colourful - lots of things to see and lovely stalls to wander round.

Day out in London

A customer from Surrey who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

We got the train to Waterloo and got a taxi to our Hotel (Kingsway Hall, Great Queens Street). We dropped our bags off and walked to Covent Garden. Did some shopping, had a couple of drinks. Went back to hotel to get changed then went to China Town and Covent Garden for drinks before going to the Red Rooms Club on Great Queens Street. After a good nights sleep and an lovely breakfast, we did some sight seeing (walked to St Pauls).
