Located within walking distance of the City and the West End, London Bridge & Southwark are the ideal base from which to explore London sights such as Southwark Cathedral, the Globe Theatre, Tate Modern and HMS Belfast. Extensive regeneration of the area has resulted in an established restaurant and bar culture, so why not take advantage of trendy, innovative and laid-back dining before spending an evening in Theatreland.

A customer from Stroud who stayed at 4* London Bridge in London Bridge/City wrote this review.
Sarah and my self decided on a weekend trip to London staying at the london bridge hotel, the staff was very courtious and in a way treated us like Royalty,we both had a lovelly meal on the first night at our hotel after driving down to London from the Cotswolds, the Resturant was superb with a good varied menu also the waitors being humurious, made it extra special, the next day after a hearty breakfast we caught the train to the enbankement to go on the bateaux trip up the thames sunday lunch and a brill jazz band, afterwards we strolled to Covent Garden taking in Tralfalger Square. A supurb day out..next day we included the london eye a must for every one it was amasing to say the least, then a red bus trip to Harrods if only i had brought more money??sadley time had run out so we backtracted to london bridge to say hello to our lonley car that had been parked all weekend, the car park fee was very reasonable, with money left over to stop for a meal on our way hme...hope to visit london again soon best wishes Dave and Sarah.......

A customer who stayed at 4* Mercure Hotel - London City Bankside in London Bridge/City wrote this review.
Taking the train from Stoke we arrived easily at the Bankside Mercure Hotel and enjoyed a gourmet lunch in the newly refurbished restaurant. The hotel was ideally situated for visiting the millenium bridge, St Pauls, the Globe Fleet Street and the Courts of Justice. After a quick shower and change the Vaudeville Theatre was within wlking distance (30 minutes), where we enjoyed the musical Piaf before an evening meal in a local retaurant. The hotel room was well equpped and comfortable, the breakfast good and staff helpful. By 1pm the following day we were back in Stoke after a really enjoyable trip.

The Novotel London City South was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast to die for. We went to see Chicago which was very entertaining. On the Saturday we went to the War Museum and then visited the usual sites in London. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back to the Novotel!
