The lift was not working when we arrived on Saturday afternoon and was still not working when we left on the Sunday. Reception desk left unmanned on Sunday morning when people were checking out. Hotel feeling a bit 'tired' but staff were very helpful. Just think the lift should have been repaired sooner!

We used the hotel as a base and went sight seeing each day. We found it an ideal location and athough the hotel was near a flyover we could not hear the traffic. The room and staff were really good we had no complaints at all. We would not hesitate to go there again and will look in future to use other Novotel Hotels.

Our Trip to Plymouth

Went to visit our son who's in Navy and based in Plymouth. Beautiful area. Could have done with more time. Only stayed two nights. Novotel ok if you are only staying short term. You get what you pay for, ie 3* hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.

basic hotel, adequate in all aspects BUT poor matress had to be doubled and very little ventalation in room meant always hot and stuffy at night, little sleep gained so less enjoyable than expected.
