We were very happy at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Anything that needed sorting was done very quickly and cheerfully! Nice Bar staff in the evenings also very good breakfast. Hyde Park was very close to the Hotel so we walked round it and had a coffee in the Restaurant (very reasonable prices). British Museum was good, although the Roman exhibition was £12 to go in (a little steep we thought). Had a pleasant day in Kew Gardens- went on the midday Tree Talk - very interesting. Booked Lion King and Billy Elliot - both superb in their own way. Billy Elliot had the edge though - brilliant effects, acting and dancing of course!

A business trip to London stuffed with meetings but at the end of the day the retreat to The Royal Lancaster was true peace. An excellent hotel with good amenities, quiet rooms and excellent staff.
